Cable Kits include 3/8” diameter 7x19 strand aircraft cable, intermediate guides every 25’, and a cable sleeve (trolley). Kits meet or exceed OSHA and ANSI requirements for climbing safety. When purchasing a complete kit, a Cable Kit and an Attaching Kit will be required:
For structures with ladders or climbing faces, the Ladder Attaching Kit clamps to ladder rungs or members up to 1-1/4” in diameter.
For monopoles with step bolts, the Monopole Attaching Kit attaches to plates at the top and bottom of the pole (plates not included).
For towers with step bolts on angle or pipe legs, use the Monopole Attaching Kit. In addition order the Top and Bottom Clamp Kit for Pipe and Angle Legs (P/N 207433), along with the size and quantity of Intermediate Safety Climb Clamps that match the tower leg type and size (one clamp required for every 25’ of cable). | |
